How it works

Use Smooth It Out to automatically insert in-betweens and smooth all keyframes on the active camera.

The Smooth Passes slider

The Smooth Passes slider controls the number of smoothing iterations applied. Higher values result in stronger smoothing. Start low and increase gradually.

Revert and Erase

The Revert button restores your original keyframes from backup, letting you safely experiment without losing your setup. If you want to remove only the generated in-betweens (created via Smooth It Out or the shortcut Shift+Alt+O), use Erase instead.

Revert restores your keyframes from the backup created before the last smoothing. Note that only one backup is kept: if you run Smooth It Out multiple times, Revert will only go back to the state right before your most recent run, not to the original starting point.

⚠️ Important: smoothing is cumulative. For example, applying 20 passes, then 10 more, results in 30 passes of smoothing. To reduce or change the smoothing strength, always use Revert first, then reapply.
